                       The Safari still holds that big, macho SUV image. It continues its high stance with a rather long bonnet; it exudes ruggedness; even in the face of its rather more timid looking clear lens headlamps and some extra chrome that has gone into its anti-ageing process.

 Once you fold these jump seats though, u liberates a lot of luggage room. The safari now incorporates adjustable height seat belts that can really go a long way in improving comfort and in the event of a crash, they can dramatically reduce the risk of neck injury. The seats are also height adjustable and the VX/VXI version of the safari comes with leather interiors and a DVD player, which show that Tata has really pushed the envelope as far as equipment goes.

                        The dash seems pretty well designed, but the quality of plastics although improving need some more refinement. The safari now comes with tilt adjustable steering, which has much better quality than the dashboard. The space available is excellent, beyond what any of its competitors are able to offer. 

If you brake hard in an emergency, the car wheels can skid & even lock, causing the vehicle to spin out of control. But with the Anti-lock Braking System, you can rest assured. Because it pumps the brakes for you even if you are driving on wet and slippery surfaces.

Safari GX comes fitted with Ultrasonic Reverse Guide System, for reverse assist to driver. It has an easy to see indicator mounted on the inner rear view mirror which not only shows the distance of any obstacle in digits but also indicates it diagrammatically along with a warning beep.
